Everyone has bilirubin. I think you mean jaundice.

And the normal lvl should be under 5ish if they’re newborn.

MOST newborns are over 5 and have a little jaundice, and phototherapy is usually needed at a 10.

@beyond_beautifulx3, yeah he’s only 5 days old and it went down a lot. My son was jaundice and they said the most important thing was to keep the blinds on the window open and in the car not to cover the carrier with a blanket. He quickly lost his orange coloring.

My son was at a 9 something. He never needed to go to the lights, they just checked it every day we were there, and then had us come back 2 days later for a recheck ☺️
