Well my boys' dad and I have been together for a really long time and his mom refuses to know me or our sons. I have met her twice and had to have someone there to translate pretty much and she was nice and I wish to know her, but it will never happen and she will never know her grandbabies. It's pretty damn sad really and his family is big but they do not wish to know us.

Yeah, it is what it is though. I sadly can't do anything about it. I take it as their loss, not ours. My kids are great and it is only them who are missing out, not us.
