First time mom questions! My baby is going with me to six flags for the first time and in the heat for long periods of times.. suggestions? My baby only goes out in the mornings for an hour for so she isn't used to the heat!
1. So.. this is a stupid question, better to ask. Is it okay to breast feed when your boob/nipple has a lot of sweat on it. I'm afraid of bacteria the baby can get in her mouth is why in asking.
2. What are some products/different ways to keep your baby cool during the first time being in the heat? (Besides liquids)
3. Can I give my baby water? Lots of it? At 5 months!
4. What are some things to bring to an amusement park with a 5 month old!

Wipe your nipples before you nurse keep her in a stroller with shade over her. She can get in the water also lots and lots of sun screen. I've given my baby water with alittle bit of sugar in it not alot.

When are you going? I’m from DFW and right now it’s raining and not so hot so you should be okay. If you weren’t aware, there is such thing as drinking too much water and you can end up at the hospital. Specially for a baby. His water intake is completely different than an adult. That young I’m not sure if you can give them Gatorade. Check with your doctor.

I feel like I’ve seen nipple wipes before! I believe medela makes them. Also doctors have always said no water for babies that little. Formula/breast milk is all they need. Maybe just make sure there is a cover on the stroller/ maybe a little sun visor for baby. Cold packs possibly to set next to baby if she’s too hot.

Freeze water bottles and put them under a receiving blanket between your LO. A mist fan was vital along with shade when we took our kiddos to Disneyland. Check into the guest services. At Disneyland they have a parenting center with AC, private nursing area and microwave.
