To kill the suspense during the tww, I need ideas for how to tell my husband if I am pregnant...I can't lie very well, and since we were trying for one, he keeps asking now.....lol. But I'm determined to surprise him....
First go around, I left the pregnancy test in the bathroom next to his stuff to find whenever he went in....I need something more creative.... 😛 #myfirstpost
@gingerlion96, awwww that was something like what I wanted to do for my first one.... I did that for my grandparents, with an ornament, since it was Christmas...but no pregnancy test! LOL..... I did have to show my mom a picture of the one I took though cause she thought we were joking....😆 Not her fault, we'd been joking (talk only) for months before....
@sapphirelevaou, oh wow that IS elaborate.... I don't think I'd last that long to 7 or 8 weeks along...LOL. Hubby is already joking "what, are you pregnant"? He remembers that I told him I knew early on with our first, so I know he's determined to try and get it outta me.....😛😆
My great reveal idea was that I'd find out take a pic of all the hpt that are positive then go to a clinic where you get free test and ultrasound and keep the pics I get then when its 7-10wks I'd get a blood gender test done and once I know the gender then I'd create a cute little gift bag but making sure it's all black and hide balloons in it so that when he takes off the tape the balloons float out and then inside he would pull out a collage picture of all the ultrasounds plus a cute little outfit that's the same color as the balloons for what the gender is.....I know sounds totally elaborate but also worth it. Theres also a place that gives 3D and 4D ultrasounds and if theres a heartbeat for the baby then they'll put the recording of its heartbeat inside a little teddy bear theres alot more stuff to the package but its $200 but I think it's worth it for if it's the first one
I have a little box tucked away in the spare room closet (since my husband never goes in there). It has a little onsie with cars (he's a mechanic), a soother, a homemade much that says 'promoted to Daddy', and a book called "Your baby's first words will be Dadda", and I plan to add the positive test whenever I get it. It's all ready and tucked away so I can give it to him in a moments notice since I'm also a terrible liar and suck at keeping secrets!
