Mommas,
If you are ever scared and afraid he will hurt you. Again.
If any of these signs with him show up:
Accuses you of having an affair
Blames you for abuse
Criticizes you
Tells you what to wear and how you should look
Threatens to kill you or someone close to you
Throws things or punches walls when angry
Yells at you and makes you feel small
Keeps close tabs on where you go and whom you go with
Makes you ask for an OK to see friends and family
Embarrasses you in front of others, and it makes you want to avoid people
Abandons you in a place you don’t know
Attacks you with weapons
Keeps you from eating, sleeping, or getting medical care
Locks you in or out of your house
Punches, pushes, kicks, bites, pulls hair
Or if you think you know somebody who is being abused showing these signs:
Excuses for injuries
Personality changes, like low self-esteem in someone who was always confident
Constantly checking in with their partner
Never having money on hand
Overly worried about pleasing their partner
Skipping out on work, school, or social outings for no clear reason
Wearing clothes that don’t fit the season, like long sleeves in summer to cover bruises.
Even one or two of these signs are not okay and are a sign of a controlling behavior that only gets worse as time goes on.
It only gets worse. Don’t expect him to change for you, he won’t.
Don’t wait till your scared for your life.
It may be too late. So please.
Encourage yourself or them to seek a safe place. Please.
Please don’t stay.
There is better than this.
Real men don’t hurt women.
You are strong.
It’s okay to run.
It’s okay to get help.
Reach out.
Be safe.

You have people on your side.
You will be okay and do not ever ever blame yourself for someone else’s actions.
Take care of yourself because it’s never too late to ask if you’re not being treated right.
You have the right to ask.
If any of you need someone to talk to, I am always here to listen and give advice.
Always. ♥️I’ve had to run from an abusive partner before. My mother had an abusive step father. It takes a lot of strength to admit he doesn’t love you and to get out while you can.
Nothing that was ever worth it was easy or it just wouldn’t be worth it.
Stay strong.
