This was my daughter, Raeleigh, during my c-section. I’m so glad that I have a doctor that understands what I want and lets me have it! I chose the clear drape so I could watch her be born and then I told him that I wanted to keep her with me through the entire procedure because I wanted that bond. I wish I would’ve been able to do this with the first two. This is probably my favorite birth photo! 💗 I can’t wait to experience this again in January with my son! 💙

I really wish I had that with my last. We didn't know the gender and were going for vbac number 2 but ended in an emergency csection so I had to be told the gender instead of seeing for myself. If I knew I would have asked for a clear drape (didnt even know they had them). I got to do skin to skin and breastfeed as I was wheeled out of the operating room at least as my first csection they didn't want me to hold her because I was shaking bad.
