My oldest loves school work. He made me sign him up for spelling words nightly. He had a spelling pretest last Thursday and he got 14/15 plus the bonus word September and the teacher gave him the option to take the test with the rest of the class Friday or not because he had the highest score in the class and he told her he wanted to take the test! He got 15/15 plus the bonus then. 😊

@scream.queen, that’s awesome!! Yes he’s wearing Mario pjs. So he just said to me oh it’s raining I said yes I think it’s going to rain all day. He said oh that stinks but it’s ok because I can work on my homework. How cute is that!! He has a project due soon that’s a little book all about him. So we have to print out some pics and write all about the things he likes to do!! Then he gets to present it in front of the class and families can go to his school for his presentation. He’s really excited about that!! I’m just so proud that he’s so excited/interested in school work!!

@yamip91, oh I did paint that. We went to pinots palette. It’s a step by step painting class. We go every few months with my dh’s family. It’s a lot of fun!!

I would love to go! But would really suck if I cant take the girls because I have no one to watch them

@yamip91, they do have kids classes. I don’t know how much they are. There’s a few places just like it like franchise places. U haven’t taken the kids yet but I def plan on this winter. We go as a group of like 10 people and it’s 30 bucks for a 3 hour painting. They have a ton to choose from too. We’ve been doing it about a year or so now every few months

@yamip91, yes it’s a lot of fun to get together and do something kid free!! But I would also be a lot of fun with kids. There’s also a pottery place near us called busy bees where the kids can paint pottery and they gloss it and u get it a week later. We’ve been there for a bday party and class field trip and my 5 year old loved that. We will be doing that this year as Christmas gifts for the grandparents.

Awww that’s so sweet! My son tells me he loves school, and it warms my heart. I hope our kiddos can continue to have such a positive relationship with school/education! I hope to nurture his positive attitude as much as possible 😊😊

@scruffy.nerf.herder, yes same here. He literally comes home from school, unpacks his school bag and wants to do homework that he doesn’t even have lol. It’s so cute. We bought a few good thick work books so he can practice his writing and math. He’s a math whiz. I’m not kidding this child can add anything up in his head. It amazes me. So happy your son loves school too. I mean we really couldn’t ask for a better response about school right?
