So the baby is 3 1/2 weeks old and I started back to work yesterday after being pregnant for approximately two years with back to back babies. I got off early tonight and decided to go have a cocktail before I head home to daddy who has been watching both boys for the past two nights. He finally gets a small glimpse into to what my every day looks like... with one cocktail, maybe the baby will actually sleep tonight. One can only hope. But either way definitely a moment earned for myself to decompress

8 healthy crock pot meals (7 to freeze and one for dinner tonight) prepared and cleaned up in less than two hours (would have taken less but I have a newborn so I was limited to one hand at times). I feel accomplished and am soooo looking forward to not cooking every night!
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
Where’s one place in the world you’d love to visit ?
I would love to visit Italy or Spain . It’s a hard choice , but deff one of those two!
I give it to you moms with twins or more on the way. One baby is breaking my back, i cant imagine two.😫
I also recently found out that I can't take maternity leave only having been at my job since March... I must put in my two weeks when I am ready, and be completely rehired back after baby and recovery from second c section 😰😰😰😰 I'm so worried. What if they don't hire me back, and I have a two year old and an infant and no job. I am terrified about this
