As I’ve stated baby has been sick so I have been off since Tuesday, our new schedule at work came out today so early this morning I message my boss to ask for as many days as possible this week to make up for my time off, especially because the pay period ends in a couple days. she says “ok no problem” well this evening I get the schedule she gives me another two days off!!! As to where the pay period will be over!! So now I only have five days on this check 😢

Like offer to cover for people or just try to offer to come in on your days off to your supervisors?

@raqueliiosiis, that’s what I was thinking, we have been short handed so it’s weird they gave me more days off, I feel like it’s punishment or something. Or maybe because people have so much overtime they are wanting me off to not have to pay more.

@let_there_be_life, that could totally be it but it’s stupid because if people have overtime why not cut them and give it to the person who won’t be getting overtime? That makes no sense to me. I think it’s payback for you taking time off as stupid as it sounds sometimes managers are vindictive.

@let_there_be_life, maybe ask her the next time you work with her if she has any shifts you can cover or if she needs any extra help on the days that you’re already working. Maybe they can extend your shifts? Maybe she wants you to kiss her ass a little for hours, I had an old manager hat was like that I hated her.
