So I am an idiot... I forgot to fill my prescription for Zoloft yesterday before the pharmacy closed (it's a local one and doesnt open until 9am monday). So now.... I didnt have it yesterday... or today... and i dont have any for tomorrow.. i wont be able to get it until monday. I wanted to wean off for the simple fact that I'm terrified of Deacon being born and having DTs from it... but not like this..🙄😐

You may have headache and/or stomach ache from abruptly discontinuing the Zoloft. I would talk to a medical professional before stopping the Zoloft altogether.
Also, DT’s are from quitting alcohol (which has to be monitored by a physician), not from discontinuing an antidepressant, so I think your sweet baby will be okay ☺️ Happy & healthy pregnancy to you!

@scruffy.nerf.herder from what I have researched babies born from a mother taking zoloft in the 3rd trimester can have similar symptoms as babies who go through DTs. They could have difficulty breathing, trouble regulating temp, difficulty maintaining blood sugar level, difficulty feeding, and possible NICU stay. None of which I want to chance. I'll deff talk to my midwife as this certainly was not done on purpose.

@nicemmcha2015, that doesn’t sound good! Along with talking to your midwife, I would also talk to the doctor who prescribed it, to help minimize any issues for your baby. Good luck hun 💜

@nicemmcha2015 I'm on 100 milligrams, sometimes I miss a few days by accident and I go through withdrawals, my psychiatrist told me that the baby could have slight withdrawals but only last a few hours. Missing a couple days should be fine, when you get them just resume like normal. And since your only on 50 or 25 unlike my high dosage, not much should affect you.
