I literally cannot sleep right now because of this, I’ve never had such bad heartburn in my life.

@lawsondeaja, super sucks :( I’ve been drinking ice water and it seemed to kinda help. But that could be a coincidence 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had heartburn so bad and acid reflux. It gave me a real bad cough.

I’d suggest propping your head up when you sleep, don’t drink before bed unless it’s water and then just sip, don’t gulp. Your body’s digestion is super slow these days so eat slow and small bites. Stay away from high fats and greasy foods. Caffeine, sugar and high salty foods. At least eat a few hours before bed. Don’t lay down after eating. Wait at least a half hour or more.

If you don’t like tums there are these that help my love after he eats- he loves them because they work so much better than tums.

Good luck momma. I’m sure it gets better for us after we deliver.

@kmsespy, thanks so much, I really appreciate all the advice and will definitely look into these!

I never even thought about my digestion being slower right now, so that’s helpful.~ Good luck to you as well hun, I’m certain it gets better😇

@youngandexpecting, of course! It has to. I’m such a curious monkey so I ask too many questions. 🙈 I probably know more than I should.

Feel free to message me anytime. 💞

@kmsespy, I don’t think you can ever know too much!

I’m so curious too and everything’s so new to me since this is my first. I try to ask as many questions as I can but sometimes I feel they’re silly even though they’re not.

@youngandexpecting, exactly but no question is too silly. Some Moms who’ve had a few probably think so but honestly for our first babe, I think you’re right you really can’t go wrong with asking the question. It’s better to know then to guess. I’m a first time mom too and I know how intimidating it can be at times. Should I ask or should I just keep it to myself. Especially when you’re young and feel brand new to the whole thing. It’s rough putting yourself out there.

I feel it. ♥️
