i have the mirena IUD & i’ve only had 1 period the last 3 months & that was a 2 weeks ago.. now i’ve been cramping pretty bad the past two days but i haven’t been bleeding😩

Has anyone been on the iud and gotten pregnant?! I’m 11 months postpartum and I’ve been on the iud since last April-May. Here lately I’ve been very moody, crampy(but no spotting), I’ve been eating A LOT.. and weird stuff(pickles and hazelnut spread). With my son before I found out I was pregnant I ate pickles and cookie dough ice cream, so this got me freaked out! In 11 days I ate 2 jars of pickles by myself.😅 I took a digital test last Saturday and it was negative, but with my son I didn’t find out I was pregnant till 6 weeks.
Well, found out why I’ve been a psycho. 😳
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts… but what are some user notes that you have for others? 🧐

I had mines for 2 years an had it removed bcuz it was giving my stomach aches

I had the mirena in for 4 years it stopped my periods altogether.

Okay I can’t say for sure the Mirena is what’s causing it, but I’ve been having the same problem. And I also get super nauseous almost every day. They both started when I got it put in. I’m going to have it taken out next month to see if it helps anything at all.

@kartersmommyy, it’s weird isn’t it? And I told my doctor about it and she said she’d never had someone be nauseous because of it. But nothing else has changed in my life other than the iud. And now I’ve been cramping like I did when I first got pregnant with my son, but I took a test and I’m not pregnant. I just want the thing out. I’d rather have to be extra careful than deal with this.
