When did you mommas start introducing jar food to your babies?
@christina9294, longevity doesn’t mean they know all. I’ve dealt with feeding specialists and it is a bit shocking. There are long term affects of feeding solids so early. Not to mention the choking hazard at that age. Just very strange, seems very outdated.
My doctor is one of the best doctors around. She's very popular and been a doctor for 30 years. If she thought it was bad for him she wouldn't of approved it .
@laniejay I didn't want him on a tube. It would of been a bigger problem later . It was approved by a doctor , he did fine. He's healthy as ever.
It took him awhile to take to a bottle. Took 4 months before he was able to suction and latch to a bottle.
@xxoceanbabexx he wouldn't take a bottle , he had some medical complications. We had to go back and forth to Vermont for awhile and a feeding team had to teach him how to suck from a bottle.
I started feeding my son baby food at 2 months. Approved by the doctor because he wasn't getting enough from me.
6 months and all the signs of readiness. I can tag you in a very informative post with facts rather than opinion.
