What are yall mommas thoughts about drinking coffee in pregnancy? 🤔

I don’t think it’s bad as long as you limit how much you drink

My doctor told me I could have a cup a day, which was great because my main craving was the peppermint mocha from Starbucks 😂

A cup a day is fine

I used to drink a little cappuccino here and there

I drank a cup every morning when I was pregnant.

I love love love my coffee but thankfully for my babies, when I was pregnant just the smell would make me throw up. So I went without the whole time. I would of drank it otherwise.

I've always drink coffee with my last three boys now that I'm pregnant with my 4th this baby does not let me drink coffee no matter how much I loved it before I can't drink it now so I'm really just not drinking it but all my other three boys came out healthy full-term normal babies not hyper or nothing like that

I’ve had coffee and my doctor never said anything about it. He has always told me to eat/drink whatever I crave. 🤷🏻‍♀️😄 I have such an awesome doctor.

I know 1 cup like an actual cup measurement is fine or called “safe” but the moment I read that coffee can cause miscarriage I totally stopped drinking it. I don’t care what people say like if their babies where born perfectly and all that but in my opinion I’m not taking the chance because no one really knows what could go wrong. Since I found out I was pregnant with my first after having her I only have had about 3-4 cups total before getting pregnant again.

My doctor told me if I normally drank coffee to not just completely stop cause you could get headaches from the caffeine withdrawal, that it was perfectly okay for me to have at least 1 cup of coffee a day, 2 sometimes, just not to over do it.
