I'm aboriginal and get told the same thing because I'm not dark. It's so frustrating 😒 my dad was nearly black but my mum is a red head so I'm just tan amd only go dark if I go in the sun alot. All my cousins are really dark too! What you look like doesn't change your background. People are so ignorant 😩

@mamagunn.no.1 exactly same here my dad is full puerto rican so everybody is from either light skin to black and everybody assumes that because my grandfather is dark and that half his kids are either a dark tan or light tan my dad is tan but not dark tan he had his moms skin tone especially in the summer that they think im supposed to come out dark tan.. Like noo i got my moms skin tone and she is Italian irish and dutch so she is light... Plus when they see me hanging with my cousin they ask if we are related because she is a really dark tan.. When we say yeah they just give us this look like yah okay so frustrating.. Sorry you have to go through that hun

@hocuspocusmama same situation here. Especially with my cousins. And my brother with same dad different mum is really dark too, we don't even look related either. I'm sorry you have to deal with it too! It's a shame that still in this day and age with how multicultural the world is, people are still so judgemental about the colour of people's skin 😔 it's a shame people are still so closed minded

Smh its just sad honestly on how much ingnorance one person can have and how people act towards other people because they dont look like the race or act like it.. Talk about people stereotyping you because you don't look or act like a your race😞😞😞 thanks hun some days i can deal and some days i cant especially when they look at my daughter at school because she has a spanish name but she is really light skin compare to her dad and they just look at her thats when it gets to me..
