Ok ladies so what do I expect at my 38 wks midwife appointment? Usual stuff? Some people have said…

Never known anyone ever have a cervical check in the UK unless in labour or suspected labour. Not sure about what happens now as my youngest is 5 but I think its just the same as the rest of the checks x

@jodienbrad That's what I thought 🤷‍♀️, I wondered why they would check lol x

They wouldn't check, unless they think your in labour or whatever, think it's something to do with chance of getting infection if they keep checking and stuff xx

@mummyto2boys Yeah that's what I thought, maybe the person who said it to me was in suspected labour 🤷‍♀️ who knows xxx

@pearce5443, that’s something they do in America but never known it here unless in labour like others have said I never had it with my girls x

I had mine today just the same old stuff and talking about signs of labour etc they may talk about an induction date and stuff if you haven't spoken about it already x

Same old stuff, although you can ask for a sweep now and maybe schedule on in if you're so inclined.

I had mine today was just a quick one, blood pressure, mentioning a sweep etc x

I really don’t know I did originally, as I went into labour bang on 37 weeks with my son, I’ve had a couple of niggles the last few days but I think she’s just too comfy in there haha. What about you? Xx
