We did the same thing and we only allowed immediate family (the only 2 I wanted in the room other than my SO) to even know I was in labor. People promised to come visit even a few weeks after we finally announced we had our baby and never showed up. You have every right to make your own rules and decisions! People said I was rude and I didn’t care.

Right thank you ladies. I thought i was the only one. I just want to keep the fake love away. And upload her pics online to the world once we’re ready. Plus i won’t be in a rush so many people steal newborn pictures to make up for their stories and it’s ridiculous

Our oldest is 8 youngest is 4 and to date my husband has never actually posted a picture of our kids. Of course we send them to our families. It’s your baby and your rules ❤️

Yes! This times one million. My husbands family all day. They bitch and moan that they don’t get pictures but will ask my in laws for pics. Are your fingers broken? You can’t text your nephew to ask for pics?! Or to even ask how we’re doing? My son isn’t a circus monkey. He isn’t here to entertain anyone or do tricks.

I swear i feel the same way about my baby girl my mom she love to post stuff on fb she cant live without fb n i know soon i have my baby she gonna go running to Facebook posting pic n everything its aggravating i want to post a pic of her when im ready n she not gonna respect that

I complete agree with you. I seen people even post things to Social media like, “ people who don’t post their baby it’s because they have an ugly baby” like WHAT 😂 no, going to enjoy my baby’s first moments/weeks/months/year before I share her with the world if I want to. People are just nosey.

I already made a fb show saying if i feel like you’ll send her pic around to those who didn’t get one we just won’t send out pics at all. People don’t check up on u during your pregnancy but wanna aww look at the little baby soon as they born. The hell out of my face

@zyandnyeimommy, I literally posted about this the other day. My husband rude ass aunt wants pics of my son and doesn’t have the decency to ask how we’re doing. She just goes straight to my in laws and it makes me so mad. Don’t act like you give a shit about my child. If you did you’d check up on him.

@zyandnyeimommy Exactly, when me n my man had our first together almost 2 yrs ago (I have others from another relationship). People was so rude and negative. It was horrible. This time we decided we was not telling anyone and a lot don't even know still. When they see me ima be like bye Cuz I don't wanna deal with the negativity and rude comments again. I had our second together yesterday. 😊😉
