Any ways to help decongest my 6 month old? I think she has a a little bit of a cold, she is extremely stuffy, I have had the humidifier on, and I have constantly been sucking her nose out. She can’t lay down flat because then she cries because it’s hard to breathe, and isn’t comfortable sleeping in her bouncer, but it’s the only thing that keeps her sitting up a little to help her breathe.
Anyother ways I can help my daughter relieve some of this snot?

When my baby gets like that I take her in the bathroom and turn on the shower and just let the whole bathroom Steam and we'll be in there singing songs and it relieves her a lot @mrscecco316

Baby vicks on her chest will help loosen the congestion up too

@ladyblauvelt, I will have to go get baby Vick’s, I had normal Vick’s, I put not even a pea size on her chest and that seemed to help a little, I didn’t know they even made baby Vick’s lol.

The baby Vic's isn't as strong they have a children's version as well @mrscecco316 A drop of saline in each nostril before you suck may help.

Be careful about over using the bulb to suck out boogers. If you do it too much it can irritate the nasal passages and cause swelling which is the same as congestion minus the boogers.

Matys All Natural Chest rub is amazing for this. Also if you use J&J products they make an awesome baby vapor bath
