I took a test Friday evening that had a very very faint line. I took a few more tests Sunday and the line was a little darker but still faint. Then I got a digital yesterday and it said no. So now I'm confused and thinking I'm not pregnant and the tests aren't accurate. Anyone have this happen to them before? The only time I got negative tests that were wrong was when I was pregnant with my oldest who's 14yr old now. Now I'm thinking maybe my period is just late.
The Walmart/dollar tree cheapies have a sensitivity of 25miu. Digital can be up to 50miu. So if it’s faint on the cheapies, it will be negative on a digital. Wait a couple of days and you should get a positive on a dig. FRER is the most sensitive on the market with 6miu. Just FYI.
@briannalynn547 I thought that might be the case but it was within 3-5 minutes so who knows
Congrats that's so exciting! That's crazy especially with twins you would think it would pick it up
@nicole844, yes the exact thing happened to me with my pregnancy now. I was already a month which was the crazy thing and I’m having twins 🤗
@angikay I went to get more of the same test but they were out. I'll have to try to get more when they restock
Your Wal-Mart cheapies are definetly positive. Its best to stick to the same test when testing so you can see progression. Digitals do require more hcg.
That happened to me. Like ^ said some digitals need more of a hcg. Maybe just go get blood work down? That would be more accurate
@cams thanks for the info
