So I need to vent and sorry this is long...since today I had to go get a NST done obviously I couldn’t take my 2 year old with me...I asked my mom since she is home from work next few days and it was like pulling teeth to get her to when I really needed her too! Then...she was suppose to watch him tomorrow so I can go get my shot and then another NST done but she bailed on me saying she just doesn’t want too...I’m upset...my mom never watches him...if it wasn’t for me dad taking him today I would of had to take him...she said To have his other grandma watch him...she’s always drunk so that wasn’t happening...so now I have to take him with me tomorrow and I’m extremely upset and have been crying over this all day...

@ttbaby09, she never does. Like ever...never gives me a reason why besides she just doesn’t want too

That sucks but if you can’t depend on your mom then simply don’t depend on her. I know this makes you feel sad but don’t waste your time or tears on someone that obviously isn’t concerned for you or your son. Do you have other relatives or friends? Maybe you can find someone on care.com to watch him for a few hours while you handle your business.

@mojobebe, we live in an area where you can’t find someone on care.com and everyone works around me! I’m sure the nurses will help tomorrow if needed

Well if someone doesn’t want to watch your child (family or not) I would not trust them watching them period. Unless she’s sick or something understandable like that. I’m sorry!!!! Sounds like you need to find a local sitter you can trust. Bring a tablet for your son or give him your phone- I’m sure he’ll stay busy. Kids aren’t even allowed at my OB. Only newborns on your 6 week check.

@amysbabies, what seriously they aren’t?? I wouldn’t know what to do with my son half the time 😂 I have a horrible trust issue with others watching my son and the main reason I stay home lol

@paigerue2013, seriously. There is a sign and everything. I understand that. Hopefully you can find someone you trust OR pay someone to go with you and hang out in the waiting room or at a park nearby.?

@amysbabies, o started crying and my husband felt bad and is taking a half day off of work so I can go to my appointment alone 😂😂 but that doesn’t cover next week so I might have to figure things out now and not the night before lol
