Medication rant-
It pisses me off so much when parent's go to extreme efforts to see "what's mentally wrong" with your kid. I mean if I were in that position yes I would want to know but let your kid be a kid. My mother made me have many many many tests as a kid she just wouldn't let it go and let them convince her medication was the best option but what they put me on was not enough testing under 18 years of age. These pills brainwashed me and totally changed my perspective on things and no matter how much I begged her and told her they aren't working that they were what was making me sick she didn't change her mind yet I was aloud to skip them on the weekends and I felt so much better off them.... for 10 year's I was on these and I didn't have my own voice I felt stuck in my own mind. All kid's have "ADHD"
(The hyper part atleast) some kids need it to stay calm but I was just a kid with a lot of energy. The only reason a kid or someone should be put on medication is if they have thoughts of harming someone else or themselves.
Some kids I mean with real bad behavior issues do indeed need something if it's something like schizophrenia....or unresolved anger issues where the kid is violent
but all behavior issues start somewhere with the parents... ADHD IS JUST A LABEL FOR THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES TO GET THEIR MONEY THEY DON'T CARE WHAT TOXINS THEY ARE PUTTING IN YOUR KID!
Don't put that man made poison in your kid's I WAS 6 YEARS OLD

Thank you for sharing this! Not all kids need medication , that’s what people fail to realize. I’ve worked with children who were mislabeled because of the parents. It’s so unfortunate but very common these days. Most children act up because of lack of structure, environmental factors and unmet needs.

@withlovedkj It just pisses me off so much a lot of school staff push it onto the parents too when staff have no idea what the kid really needs. I know some teachers that would just answer the classwork for them instead of actually showing compassion and encouragement taking the time to show them how to actually do the work. Every kid is different is what I was trying to say. If they clearly say somthing doesn't have enough testing why would you put your kid through that like a test monkey is all I felt like.... All it was was I couldn't focus in the classroom with 25 other kids talking while I'm trying to do the work makes sense if they were to put me in a smaller classroom with a few kids would have made a huge difference but public schools don't have the capacity :/
