Mother in law drama
So today the drama unfolded! We were at a family brunch and she was holding my LO. It had been 3 hours since he had been fed, so I asked her to give him to me and she refused. I started to lose my patience! Then again he was crying in somebody else's arms, I opened my arms to get him, and she gets in the way to take him with her! 😑 I completely lost it and we started arguing. Of course she cried and I felt horrible, but at least I got it out of my system.
Hoping we can have a mature conversation tomorrow.

Hang in there, it's very hard dealing with an over bearing MNL. Trust me I know mine crys all the time if she doesn't get her way , makes me second guess myself. What you need to remember is your the mom you set the rules, you also deserve space and alone time with family if she can't get that you need to remind her of when she was a young mother and ask her to be in your shoes. Your husband also needs to have your back and tell her the same it really helps hearing it from both of you.

I wouldn't feel horrible for making her cry. She should've listened in the first place.
