What’s the point of medicine to stop your contractions if it only works for an hour? 😒🖕🏻
@jessig2006, well congrats! Hopefully they don’t try to stop it again, if I was in your shoes I would probably question them or try to decline consent at this point. To me it seems like it would only add stress to you and baby. Take care- I hope you have a quick and uneventful delivery, with of course that wonderful grand finale!!!! Glad you made it full term (yes, I know they “changed” it, but I still think there is something special about 37weeks).
@amysbabies I was shocked and upset. So glad our little man stayed in this long! We ended up in l&d several times this pregnancy so it definitely was a concern of ours.
@jessig2006, omg after 32 weeks? You bet you if I go into labor now (33 in a few days) I will be giving myself that shot from their cabinet if they tried to pull that on me. I understand 36 weeks plus though. Unless of course you have high blood pressure or another complication.
I’m sorry!!! Maybe your body is just truly ready! 37 weeks isn’t bad for a baby to be born though. A week or two extra is always nice, but if nature is on its way, I wouldn’t stop it at this point.
@kristcoleman88, 😂they probably don’t have a bed available. -joking, but I’m sure it’s been done.
@jessig2006, @meganeliza, they said since there was no change in my cervix, it was pointless to keep me 😭 I’m 38 weeks tomorrow and have an induction date set for 39weeks (9days) I took Benadryl to sleep? No I was up off and on with contractions all night and still having them. I’m going crazy. I am not a very happy pregnant woman 😩@kristcoleman88, @amysbabies,
