Breastfeeding has been such a crazy journey. It has its good and bad days and sore nipples all day every day! (Unfortunately my baby is tongue tie and because of that it has been a little difficult for us, but luckily were getting it fixed soon!!!! Yay us! ) Yet I wouldn’t change this experience for anything! Nursing has brought me sincere moments with my little human that I know no one could ever experience with him (his daddy is lowkey jealous of it). For that reason I push forward to keep nursing until my body quits on us. Even in the worst of pains when I wanted to cut my boobs off (F**k mastitis) I stayed strong to not let go of this breastfeeding relationship. I recently started to get comfortable breastfeeding in public and not caring how people look at me while doing it. & I’m so PROUD of myself for that! Which is why I’ve decided to post this. No one should ever feel ashamed of feeding their child and it should be legal to do it any where at any time! Currently in the US 3 states still have laws against this action! Yet smoking cancer in public ( or designated areas) is legal everywhere! & our breastfeeding laws at a work space are shit compared to other countries (US take a look at Greece’s Laws on breastfeeding ! Now they know how to work with working moms)
P.S. This no shame towards formula fed babies, believe me I know how hard it is for some and I also know breastfeeding is a choice & that I’m privilege enough to be able to nurse my child. For that I’m grateful!
Thank you for your time! 🤱 🐄🐮
