How long do you to wait for beer to leave your system before going back to breastfeeding, yesterday was my moms birthday and we celebrated here at home and i had a few drinks .

@chanell20, I believe if you look up on google they have a liquor calculator thing. Depending on how many you had depends on how many hours it takes to pass through your milk.

Breastfeed away. No need to wait. You’d have to be blacking out and basically dead drunk before enough would pass through breastmilk to affect baby.
That said, please drink responsibly when caring for baby.
