Anyone ever have implantation bleeding before finding out you were pregnant? I had short periods…

My best friend said she had one drip of blood and thought she was getting her period, and then nothing happened for the next 3-4 days so that’s when she took the test.

I had like one small gush when I wiped and thought I was starting my period. Nothing happened and then I took a test a week or so later and it was positive.

It’s been different for me. I’ve had just light spotting day before my period. With my first it was 3 days of bleeding. With this pregnancy I had bleeding for one day before my period thought it was my period but by the next morning it had stopped completely.

@mimixtmn with my first two I had light bleeding for two days. My period now started with brown blood then red but way lighter than my normal period because its usually so heavy that it looks black but it wasn't. Its been a mixture of brown and red. Today it has went to just brown again. I did start drinking a lot of water the day before my period started but i have no idea if that could cause any differences.

I only had implantation with my son and with my daughter I had periods

I think mine was implantation, I started spotting after my period like a week or so later but I guess could of been ovulation, it was pink and only when I wiped. I got my bfp like 2 weeks later so I’m thinking maybe ovulation now that I say it lol but not sure. That’s my experience anyway, same thing happened with my last baby too ☺️
