So we have a mouse in our apartment... Scared the hell out of me cuz I mean we have lived here since the beginning of March and this morning my boyfriend and I get up and come to the front room and a greyish mouse darts out from under our pantry door to under our stove... Kinda freaked out cuz I don't want our daughter to get bit by it or anything, getting some traps today hate to do so but can't have a mouse or mice in our apartment

Rule of thumb with mice and roaches... if there’s one, there’s more. Traps are a band aid, find the opening.

You should contact the landlord and have them take care of it bc that probably means they are in the other apartments too. I can't imagine they will bite your daughter since they are usually active overnight and hide when they hear you coming. But they will raid your house and chew holes in everything including the food in your food pantry and leave poop everywhere so call someone asap.

@sincerepolicy @lifeisgood2me I'm definitely going to call our property manager if she doesn't show up today. The only reason I really worry about our daughter getting bit is because she likes to hide in two of the lower cabinets in our kitchen that we don't use for anything.

That sucks. Definitely call the landlord. Like someone else mentioned, the poop is your biggest threat. You can get very sick from the poop.
