It did! Interview went great, she told me she would call me in a few days to let me know but she actually called me 3 hours after the interview and told me I am hired!!! She said she will call me and let me know the start date.

As for now Im going crazy looking for daycare! God those are crazy expensive! And I will start as part time (around 9-13hrs a week) until the other lady goes on maternity leave in about 4-5 months from now...its not enough to even pay for daycare so Im just trying to figure out what to do now.

@yamip91, do you have any early head start programs in your area? Depending on income it’s a federally funded “school” program for infants and toddler 6 weeks-4years old. It’s worth looking into :)! Btw congrats on the job

I did look into it. They have a waiting list of people that applied back in april 2018. Lady told me it could take 6 months or more.

Between both girls it would be around $1300 a month... I will be making around $300 because I will start as a part time with minimum wage for 5-6 months. There is no way we can take $1000 for daycare out of our one and only source of income which is my SO check for the next 5-6months

Bummer!! Where I’m at they have plenty of slots! And it’s completely free.

Childcare is a huge reason i stay home with my kids! I was working at the YMCA daycare and they let me bring my kids for free. But I quit because I wasn’t comfortable with how some of the employees treated the kids 😕

Childcare is the reason I stayed home too! But I really wanted to work and now its just getting complicated and I think I wont be able to take the job😔😭

There is no way we can pay that much money for daycare...I will continue asking and trying everywhere..maybe I get lucky and get help
