So I want to share my labor and delivery story only because it was sooo overwhelming, crazy and just sooo fast! So I had contractions for 3 days they weren’t consistent up until the third day I got woken up by some really strong contractions at 4 am they got stronger and when I went to the restroom I had a bloody show so I decided to go get checked in, I went to the hospital I was hoping to deliver at and they checked me and said I was at 4 1/2 cm dialated. That my contractions weren’t consistent for them to keep me.. so they observed baby’s heart and my contractions for an hour.. they rechecked me again and they had said there was no changes .. so home I go with these horrible contractions.. my husband and my mother convinced me to go to another hospital to get checked and so we did, we got there and they checked me and they said I was 3cm dialated I was in shock because they had said I was at a 4 at the other hospital so they kept me for an hour and had me walk the halls to see if anything changed within that hour.. the hour went by and BAM, I went from a 3 to a 5 within that hour! Mind you the other hospital didn’t have me walk around .. my contractions, and the pain I was in didn’t matter to them.. ugh! I was so glad I was finally admitted 😫 I got there at 2 and had my healthy baby boy at 9pm!
