So I had pre-eclampsia with my first and hellp syndrome with my second I had nothing with my third when I had my first two children my symptoms were never consistent until it was too late so I had to go for delivery. I think it’s happening again I’ve been getting headaches and swelling but every time I go midwifes my bp is normal and my swelling has gone am I over worrying normal pregnancy symptoms
@erincharliebubba, my consultant is useless he doesn’t seem to listen I asked him about delivery and he said they would let me go to 42 weeks before inducing me as long as my bp stays stable. They said everything was normal I have a scan and consultant appointment in 2 weeks x
@jennypoulter, I’d definitely raise your concerns hun are you under a consultant what was your last bloods like?xx
@xstacey123x, yes been taking it daily since my first antenatal. So it’s swelling in the hands face and feet, headaches, tunnel vision and upper gastric pain you don’t need to have all these symptoms though with my son I only had the swelling I wouldn’t have noticed other wise x
Do you have to take asprin daily? My mum had preeclampsia so I have to take it but they’ve never told em the symptoms to look out for
@em90, yes I have I’ve had protein in it the last two appointments i have weekly appointments but the midwife is just like it’s probably discharge 😶
@jennypoulter, it’s mad when we know our bodies best ain’t it!! Wow 42 weeks I know it’s the norm but that’s for straightforward pregnancies taking into consideration past pregnancies aswell! Seems forever away doesn’t it xx
