Is anyone else on the weekly progesterone shots?

Mine are suppositories and I haaaaate them lol

Why are you doing then in the arm? And what’s your dosage?

@beakymcspence I had to take the pills for the first 12 weeks, I'd rather do suppositories😂😂

@patrycjalai they just changed how they do them. The needle is a lot smaller and it's easier to do.. its 275mg

@hbowen2018, interesting. I’m doing FET in a week and my doctor told me he won’t do the cycle unless I agree for IM (butt or tight) progesterone injections because their clinic shows those give the best results.

The ones they had me on during my last pregnancy went in my hip, but now they changed it to the ba k of my upper arm. Which actually doing the shot itself is so much easier. The needle is tiny so I don't feel it. But within minutes my arms hurts so bad I could cry.

I’m on them and are you switching our arms each week?

@rebelprincesz24 yes, Everytime for the first day I can barely move that arm but for the following 2-3days its so sore

@hbowen2018, hmm I dunno mine doesn’t get very sore try rubbing it as soon as you’re finished with it, that’s what I do

@hbowen2018, yeah I understand when I got the tdap shot my arm was sore over a week and hurt really bad

I get the ones in the butt . I wish I got that one .

I used to get the arm ones but now I get the generics in my butt. The arm ones would have my arm swollen for a few days I hated them
