Has anyone been able to JUST strictly pump and feed their babies from bottles instead of breast feed? I want all of the benefits of breastfeeding, just don’t actually want my daughter latched on me. My boss told me this would not work. Any feedback is helpful!!

It works for a lot of people! I never pumped enough milk but I know plenty of people that do.

Only thing is I had supply issues at first bc the connection between baby and breast is what tells you how much milk to make

I did! He nursed and i pumped for 4 months, then i exclusive pumped for 5 more months

My son never latched good. Although he would occasionally get a good latch I exclusively pumped for 6 months. Around month 5 I had to start supplementing with some formula because my supply was starting to dwindle.

I had a friend who strictly pumped for a year and it worked out fine. You have to stick with your pumping schedule tho. She had an alarm set on her phone to pump every 3 hours

My sister did for almost a year!!!!! She had a breast reduction at 18 and breastfeeding just didn’t work. She cut holes in her sports bra and using a shawl/car charger for her car pumped on her way to and from work, lol. More times than just that obv but that was always a funny one to me😂
