I cringe when females say they don't like water and all they drink is soda and juice.... yuck lol

I mean I have a coke every once in a while. I like the small cans. So I’ll have maybe one every other day or so. I don’t drink juice. I drink a ton of water. I’m trying to drink like 70-80oz of water a day. That’s what my dr told me I should drink. I usually get that much in in a day.

@ss3mom yes its nothing wrong with soda or juice I loveeeeeee Pepsi to death I'll fight over it but I drink a lot of water too as we ladies should pregnant or not....but to not drink water at all lol yuck for your lady parts

@kennyshakur, yes literally all your body needs is water. That’s is nothing else to drink. But I like some flavor with meals!! I drink a coke with dinner most nights but I haven’t had any in several days and I’m ok with that. I think it’s better if we teach our kids healthy boundaries with other drinks. Like everything in moderation. My kids get a splash of apple juice in their cups mixed with water at the beginning of the day. I’d say it’s about 10% juice to 90% water. Then if they finish that it’s just water. My boys now watch their urine (no joke) to make sure it’s clear lol. My dh told them that!! It’s funny cause they get so happy when their pee is clear. Sounds weird but that’s how we get then to drink plenty of water lol!!

@kennyshakur, well I have a 24oz water bottle that I keep with me all day and refill like 4 times. Then I have a water cup that I bring to bed with me every night! I’m drowning in water lol

Also my kids drink from my water bottle all day too. So I know they drink a lot of water

@ss3mom my son loves water too he only drinks water and milk.... apple juice rarely but he only ever asks for water and milk so that's good lol

I usually drink atleast 48oz water throughout the day works for me and take small sips of apple juice

@kennyshakur, my 5 year old loves his milk. He drinks like 2 cups a day. My 3 year old won’t drink milk anymore but he eats a lot of yogurt!! He likes his apple juice more then my 5 year old but they really don’t get much. I literally put a splash of juice mixed with water. They almost never get straight juice except for a special juice box every once in a while and I’m talking like 2-3 times a week with juice boxes. My 5 year old loves water. He knows that water will make his pee clear lol. It’s funny when they say that. Look mom or dad my pee is all clear lol. Makes me feel like I’m setting them up for good habits with drinks for life!! Also we hardly drink alcohol so they don’t see that much in our house. My dh might have 3 beers a week and that’s like when out to dinner or when he’s watching football. I don’t drink alcohol at all except the occasional Bloody Mary on special occasions. So again I think we are setting good examples with that too. It’s all about doing better for our kids right? But I won’t knock someone for drinking the occasional soda, beer or juice. I don’t believe kids should have soda though. That’s just me. My kids have had like little sips of ginger ale when they are sick but otherwise that’s a hard no from me of soda for them. I’m working on not drinking as much soda myself. I’ve cut down from 1-2 a day to 3-4 a week! And again it’s the little cans of coke. I’m a coke person I see you’re a Pepsi person lol.

Untill I got pregnant the first time all I drank was soda I hated water then I started drinking it and now I drink a ton of water and not so much soda. U don't realize how bad it is when it's something but do everyday

Or they say "plain water makes me sick" like dude.....you are mostly water being a human being and all....

I used to not be able to drink water, but now I drink tons but can only drink Fiji water 😩. I used to not be able to drink water at all, I had a lot of health problems as a preteen and in my early teens and was in and out of hospital and before certain tests at the hospital they would make me drink water until I was literally puking so after that for the longest anytime I tried to drink water it would trigger my brain I guess and I’d throw up. Over the years I’ve realized how horrible it is!

I drink just water when I'm not pregnant. With this pregnancy it has been hard to drink water. My husband installed a filtration system down in our basement so the water we get is filtered now and the taste I couldn't handle isn't there anymore. Before he did that I would stop by mcD or Starbucks and just order the largest size water because those were the only 2 places the water tasted normal 😆🤷

I didn't mean this like I'm a total health freak bc I am not at alllll lmao I love Pepsi and Hennessy when I'm not pregnant (I know horrible lol) but we as humans especially ladies should be drinking at least 80oz a day of water

I drink La Croix flavored waters and Bubbly water all day. I don't like plain tap water. The more I drink it the less I like soda.

Most of you probably won't believe but I dont drink soda. I hate the taste, I haven't drank soda in yearssssssss. I hate the way it makes my tummy feel and bloat. I drink water alllll dayyy. I love it. I dont really drink anything else lol

Y’all talkin bad about me 🙄 lol I know it’s bad! The only time I drank a lot of water was while pregnant! I craved it in 3rd trimester. I very rarely drink plain water, kinda hate it.

I love water!!! I spice it up with fruits too. We go through times where we have no soda in the house for months and then of course my SO decides he wants some and he goes out and buys like 12 cases!! I will have one everyday or every other day but that's about it. I'm not a juice drinker. Mostly I drink water and homemade sweet tea. I'm lucky with my DD because she hates the soda!!! 🙌

My step daughter like this. Idk what the deal is but i can not get her to drink anything else. She likes welchs which better then soda. I like water and i drink soda but not lots. Im more coffee and tea. I drink water at work.

I don’t ever drink soda. I used to be an addict in my 20’s - until I got aspartame poisoning and I still pay for it. Thank you Diet Coke. That’s when I started doing my research and realized how horrible it was. I’m still working on breaking the habit for my husband and oldest (they have maybe 2-3 a month so still not bad). My littles have never had it.

My middle medically can’t drink plain water, but we get it as close as we can to it. (A 90/10 mix).

I don't understand how people don't drink water. Pop, juice, tea, ect just make me even more thirsty especially when it's hot. My husband works in a factory that's 100+ degrees in the summer and someone he works with will drink 2 liters of Mt Dew all day instead of water. Idk how he does it. 🤢🤢🤢

Ughhh I try soooo hardddd to stay away but I cannot. My kids have never had any though. I just can't finish a cup of anything besides soda for some reason.😩

@kennyshakur, no I won’t drink tap water. I hadn’t for years. I have a water cooler at my house and we get 5 gallon jugs delivered every week

@laniejay, what’s aspartame poisoning? Like what were your symptoms?

@ss3mom, nuerological issues, migraines, IBS like symptoms, sleep issues - it was awful! I went through so much testing because no one could figure out the cause. I started playing with my diet and finally figured it out. If I eat anything with aspartame I get violently ill now. Any artificial sweetener makes me sick, but everything in the aspartame family (they hide it amongst many names) is horrendous for me.

I've been terrible at drinking water. Now that I'm pregnant I always drink water. I drank like 4 cups at dinner the other night and had 2 hospital cups (the cups they give you in the hospital) when I got home. That doesnt include the 3 I had throughout the day! Haha I will never get rid of my sodas though. I limit myself though. I do drink alcohol when I'm not pregnant. A glass of wine sometimes 2! Wine and beer is good for you. Even my regular dr told my 96 year old great grandmother to drink a glass of wine in the evening. Helps with blood pressure, stress and relaxes you.

Yes!! So gross!! Imagine how bad their teeth look or will look 😣
