@tanirani Right! I get that I am 40w5d today. His mom even commented on a post of mine how she was so anxious and couldn't wait. Dude I am the one carrying him, I said well no one is as anxious as hubby and I are, and she goes "well except me!" She keeps acting like he is hers. I seriously am just ready to shut out everyone the entire day he is born. Lol

@heilwife317, props to you for not rushing the process! They should all understand that, can’t push nature and asking over and over again just makes the mana more annoyed. I feel ya, hang in there! You are doing great 👍 ignore em!

@tanirani Thanks! Yeah I was actually surprised of the amount of people who heard I hit 39 weeks and were asking why I wasn't induced yet or how much it would suck to go that long. I was like umm...39 weeks is literally the start of full term!

My OB asked me at 40 if I wanted to be induced today and I said I really prefer natural so we are going to wait another week and a half for him to want to come. If not I have to be induced at 41.5 because you can't hit 42.

@tanirani thankfully my OB offered and when I was iffy about it she was actually quite happy I wanted to wait. She said she is used to offering because most ladies say they want her to induce at 38 and she refuses. So when they hit 40 they are like yessss. Lol she said baby and I are both super healthy so it would be better to wait anyway if I am willing.

Well I'm glad you are able to continue like you want too. It's hard I am sure with pushy docs.

Not to mention, after havin ? A baby, you're very vulnerable, hormonal, uncomfortable... etc. Why do people insist on going to the hospital!?

I’m only 34 weeks and already have people asking about the baby. I don’t plan on telling anyone when i go into labor. I’m just going to call my hubby if he isn’t already with me and let him no it’s go time. My mom and my mil both think there going to be in the room which they aren’t. I’m just going to go to the hospital and once baby is out i will tell everyone he’s here.

@nschlegel Right! I was fine with them coming when I tell them the all clear but his mom wants like text updates every hour since she isn't allowed to be there, I said absolutely not. Thankfully he agrees he wants to be there supporting me not his mother. I told them they can come when we say but it's because I refuse to let anyone at my house during the first month or so. I don't want to be learning how to care for a baby and expected to clean and host guests.

@sara_elizabeth2014 same too. I just hope it all goes smoothly. :)

@heilwife317, same this is my husbands first baby. I want to be able to enjoy this with him as much as possible without having to deal with the craziness of other people.
