My friends autistic son, he’s in 6th grade now, ran out the house (he’s an escape artist I swear) and someone noticed him trying to walk into a busy highway and not really responding to her when she was calling him and stuff. She called the cops and they were able to get him into the car and back to his mama! It is sooo scary when a kid is missing, when they are autistic and non verbal it is even scarier. We love him so much. So happy he was found so quickly and for that woman that noticed he needed help!

How scary glad he's home safe 🌟 👼...do they have a bracelet he can wear saying he's non verbal/autistic

@sherrynygirl, I don’t think so, I know they have a sticker for the car and the house in case of an accident or something. I’ll suggest an emergency bracelet to her. He’s getting older and he’s so stinking smart!

like @sherrynygirl said let them know they should really get him one and put a really high lock on the door. you can get one from insurance by having his doctor sign a referral for him and it will be free of charge. I'm very happy he got home safe💙

@itsmely, yeah. His big brothers were watching him and she came to check on them and they said he’d been in the bathroom for 20 mins (he’s potty training) she was like no. He doesn’t just go in the bathroom for 20 mins. He is tall he can reach the top of the door now and knows how to unlock it. He has to have 24/7 watch on him. His brothers were just not paying enough attention to him.
