Alright ladies I need advice, anytime I'm sitting up or standing for not even long periods of time, I start to get pain under my ribs on my right side, pain that literally brings me to tears. Laying down is the only thing that really helps. It's also getting harder to stand and walk around for long periods of time. I think I finally at that point in my pregnancy.

It could be gallbladder which is why doctors (sorry that said dont) want you to call. Usually gallbladder is accompanied by nausea is what they told me. I went in for a stabbing pain on my upper right rib that would randomly hurt repeatedly. It still does some, they found out it was actually my son (plus my exertion) managed to pull a muscle and he was causing contractions there every time he pushed his butt there. So know you should call but it isn't a guarantee it is bad. They couldn't do anything for me at all. It still happens some and I just have to breath through it.

Gallbladder attack is AWFUL! I had to have emergency gallbladder removal when my daughter was 3 weeks old, my whole pregnancy I had gallbladder attacks and they hurt worse than anything I’ve ever felt! It is in the upper right rib area but shoots pain all the way into shoulder blade and neck, I literally thought I was having a heart attack! I was in EXCRUCIATING pain! Nothing I avoided (food and fatty wise) helped at all, I had to deal with it my whole pregnancy until I had an attack that left me crippled in pain unable to breathe which lasted almost 2 days! Went to er and said I wasn’t leaving I was transferred 45 mins away for emergency removal which ended in 2 surgeries, said my enzyme levels were dangerously high at 4x the normal amount. Keep an eye on it, if it’s gallbladder you’ll know! It does cause vomiting as well and it usually bile

@kandaceteresa see I had so many of these symptoms and found out gallbladder was perfect. The pain is excruciating and food changed nothing. But it wasn't my gallbladder. Just baby. I still am shocked that it wasn't gallbladder so hopefully when baby drops and comes the pain will stop!
But no matter what I would say talk to doctor.

Could be an arm or leg stuck under ribs too 🤷🏻♀️ hope you feel better soon!

I would call your doctor.
Just to be on the safe side.
It could also be a sign of preeclampsia.
I had it with my last pregnancy and am
currently in the hospital now due to signs of it redeveloping, and they told me that is one of the things to keep an eye on, along with swelling in hands and feet, and seeing spots and blurred vision.

I did call, the nurse didn't seem to worried said it might just be how he's laying. But I have an appointment in the morning so I'll mention something when they run my urine.
