anybody else's baby a late walker? my daughter hasnt started walking she'll stand on her own & take…

My son turned one in April and he barely started walking a month ago my other 2 were walking at one

I think it becomes a concern at 18 months. I would check with her doctor.

All three of mine were late walkers, my daughter just turned a year and still not even attempting besides me holding her hands and walking her.

@babeylarissa, Maybe just talk to her doctor maybe you guys can find a early intervention specialist, they may be able to help you get her walking.

They don't typically worry until 18 mos.

My daughter isn't walking yet (but doing the same things you mentioned). The Dr hasnt been concerned at all and didnt mention when it might be a concern. My daughter was born early though so its normal for her to be a little behind.

My son didnt walk until 18m. He stood with support at 15m. He was slow to walk. He likes to take him time and do things "right" the first time. He loves puzzles and was doing complex shape sorters early. He loves to watch and analysis before doing things. He is not a physical risk taker. Still isn't. He watches and when he figures things out he goes for it and often makes it perfectly without a tumble. When he does he sits often and thinks before trying again. Once he gets back he is golden.

I say don't stress. She probably is miles ahead in other areas and is developing other skills first. If she can get around right now (in her own way) dont worry. Also maybe see what skills she does have. Maybe you have a more musical baby or one who loves art. Or maybe she loves reading or talking more. Each kid is different and develops different skills first.

My son didn't start walking tell 16 months. Doctors normally don't start getting concerned until 18 months.
