Do you have a pump? If she's not sucking well I'd think by 6 days you might be drying up already. It happened with our first. I tried and he just couldn't latch well. So I started pumping but it was to late for me already. 2 weeks and I had dried up totally without my milk ever come in.

I’m literally so frustrated right now. She latches fine starts sucking well but then loses interest after about a minute or two. @xxoceanbabexx, my milk is coming out in drops now 😩😩😩

If she’s not sucking it won’t come in... supplementing is what is causing your problem.. but her on your breast before formula or you will never get enough. Breast milk works on supply and demand if there’s no demand for it your body will not create a supply.

Ladies thank you @xxoceanbabexx, @mimixtmn, that’s reassuring. I will do so. I think what annoys me is that she keeps sleeping after two minutes. I guess I just have to keep waking her up until she gets into the habit.

Thank you so so so much!! This is INCREDIBLY useful. I’ve wanted to give up a few times, my kid also got Jaundice and I blamed myself for my inability to feed her. Her diapers and stool weren’t coming out frequently enough but it’s since gotten slightly better. My big concern now is my breast milk.

My son refused to latch so I started pumping right away. & My milk came in 2 days after he was born. There's nothing wrong with supplementing. It's better than starving your baby. Best of luck!

Keep waking her up and put her on constantly! I found with my third I put her on the breast every hour where as my other two I did every 3 and my milk came in in like 2 days and I had the easiest breastfeeding experience with her! I plan to do that again with this baby for the first week or so. If you ever need anything feel free to message me I’ve been thru it all breastfeeding my 3 the first two I went thru hell😩
