Is It Too Early to Test? Understanding False Positives and Negatives

@brkelly I took another and this is about what it looks like. See below.

@brkelly that's exactly what this one looked like right when I tested. Weird. Maybe I should wait a few days.

@beakymcspence I definitely drink a ton at night. I was up all night drinking. It is ridiculous how thirsty I have been.

@ashbrewer, I always found my evening urine was better then FMU because I drink a lot of water through the night.

@beakymcspence I picked some up. I'm going to test this evening. I did have light spotting around 5 dpo.

@ashbrewer, Try and FRER they are more sensitive then these 🙂 I never got a positive till 10DPO. All depends on when implantation occurs 🤞🏻

@haleypsutton I wondered that actually. Yesterday I took a test around 2pm. It had a vvfl. I was trying to take a pic and I couldnt get one so I tested 4 hours later. That's when I got the vvfl. Which appeared right away. So I may try again around 6pm and see if I have a better result.

@gaga123 I did trigger but not with HCG. I triggered with Lupron which doesn't give you a positive.

Several things! 1.) it’s totally possible it’s too early to test. 2.) with this past cycle I had an early loss, but for the few days I had positives, it was almost never FMU, it was in the afternoon around 4. Some people it doesn’t work well with FMU. 3.) sometimes those strips give you indents that look like vfl, but I still wouldn’t worry as it’s a bit too early. Good luck! :)

Did you take a trigger shot, if so, it could have been hcg from the trigger shot
