Im a christian and all but all these preists and preachers and pastors that get arrested or exposed for abusing children…

I was not super religious, my boyfriend is. He convinced me to go to this church with him. When we went they were so wrong, the sat people according to how they dressed. So if you were well dressed you sat in the front if not your were in the back. They never said it but I noticed and then while they are doing the offering. The preacher said "God said it's not enough just to be here, God said you need to donate, just showing up isn't enough" I looked at my boyfriend and said ugh that's wrong and he agreed. We never went back.

THE PREACHER is the one that didnt think it was enough probably..... i shoulda said i was raised in church then got old enough to realize its all a popularity contest and strayed away.... tried to get back in it again about 5 years ago and strayed again....i love God and have a relationship with him but i dont go to church

@cmjohnson3047 exactly my grandma is really religious and use to bring us to church and I never in my life heard a preacher say that I was like wtf. We don't go to church and I'm trying to build a relationship with God at the moment

Oh it’s disgusting. But as Christians we don’t claim to be perfect. No man is holier than another. We all live in an imperfect fallen world and are prone to wander from Christ and sin. Unfortunately these sick people chose to do something terribly hurtful and disgusting. But that doesn’t negate every other Christian’s integrity. Choosing to not attend church because of hypocrisy results in surrounding yourself with secular people who are also hypocritical 🤷🏽‍♀️ It takes time to find a good fit for a home church, but it’s worth it. There are many verses in the Bible where God commands us to fellowship with others in His house.

I never knew God until about 5 years ago. I went to my now church & received the Holy Ghost, then started my relationship with Jesus. All churches will have their "problems". All of us have spiritual battles. That being said, any grown man, who takes the responsibility to lead a church, should kill his flesh DAILY, as should we, but they are more accountable. And to molest a child, that person had a DEMON & if I was apart of that church I'd have to reevaluate my walk with God, if I was blindly following such a monster & taking spiritual advice from him it would really mess me up. I trust my pastor. I know he "dies" daily. He & his wife are wonderful people of God. My church family are the same & so loving & caring!! We follow acts 2:38. We believe in JESUS NAME baptism, being filled with the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues, dressing modest, not wearing jewellery, just being humble & live as simple as possible. It took me all my life to find the truth, & I'm so thankful that I have a church family, who love me, encouraging me along the way!!
