So I just had the worst dental experience. The dentist was going to pull my tooth and it didn’t even need to be pulled. He wanted to do it without numbing me or even providing any medication after. I am 21 weeks pregnant and I guess the spread of infection to him wasn’t an issue either. How do I know he was wrong? I went to another dentist who told me it had nothing to do with that tooth and I just needed a filling on a whole different tooth. I got the filling and now my mouth is find. Just to think I would have gotten a tooth extracted for no reason once so ever is so hurtful. 😩

You should call and make a complaint about the dentist who did that and speak to the manager of the office if possible

@scoons637, I did! I spoke to the owner and told them I will go to the board as well. They just apologized for what happened but also tried to say that wasn’t the case. But it had to be the case because another dentist confirmed an extraction was unnecessary.

@keshajay88, so happy you went above them! Definitely go higher up because what he is doing is not okay and can be deemed illegal if he is trying to upcharge you for a procedure you didn’t need or wasn’t necessary. I understand a simple mistake but denying the mistake being made is not okay at all especially since you received a second opinion along with the proper care needed. (Learned about this topic in school just recently and so your post really popped out and wanted you to be able to get the best care for your health and also for you to know that it’s wrong of what that dentist is doing to you)!
