I do too but i can tell she knows it's helped her after. Her dad begs me not to do it. He thinks it doesn't work and I'm just hurting her. He thinks anything homeopathic is a gimmick. But ive had to wash out my nose my entire life because of horrible allergies so i know it works lol

@cjohnston Omg, ikr. I feel so bad whe I do it cus I have to practically pin him down, since my husband is never home when this has to be done, in order for him to breath good. Thankfully his nose has only had to be flushed like maybe 4 times so far

Lol yes girl it's like wrestling a monster. I use the neil med nose washer for babies and i have to keep her mouth open to make sure it drains correctly and now she has teeth so that makes it alot more difficult. Thankfully shes only had one cold and that was about 3 weeks ago

@cjohnston yep, I used the heck out of the cold tabs. My boy hates having his nose washed out tho, I only do that in emergencies

Hylands makes some homeopathic cold tablets and they work wonders with clearing it up. Also washing their nose out with salt water

@mimixtmn ah ok. I'm a first time mom. So I had no idea. I just check stores to see what he can take about once a year

@gothamsmama, ya that’s what I meant actual medication tho is banned their are some natural relief items but as for actual cold medicine containing drugs it is banned for children under 6 has been for years now.

@mimixtmn not banned. I think cold medicine for 3 and under is mostly natural ingredients tho. I know stuff for him under to was definitely natural stuff. At least that's all I could find at Wal-Mart and such.

I thought cold medicine was banned for children under 6 ?I think wiping his nose is really the only option.
