I would say every kid is different so I could be normal. My son tried to do that with the not eating unless it was junk and I had to make him sit at the dinner table and eat whatever I cooked. Even if it toke me 2 hrs. I would tell him, no tv, no toys, no nothing if you don't eat your food. Even try giving small rewards if she does in the beginning. I had to try everything I could. With the tantrums, snatching, and stuff is a no. I send my son yo time out chair immediately when he does stuff he shouldn't so he knows I can't do that. And I try to talk to him and make him understand that not expectable. You can't act like that and that's not how big boys behave. It will be hard to stick go it but it's for the better good so she doesn't get to the point that you can't control her at all.

@luv_2b_amomma, the food part isn’t as hard because she eventually gives up and eats but the behavior is driving me crazy! I do time out but it’s like it doesn’t phase her. I’ve even popped her hand or her butt when I’ve had to and got no response what so ever. When she throws things I take them away and tell her it’s not nice to throw and things like that but she just does it again when she gets it back. It’s like nothing I do helps at all 😩

@caseyann19 my started at about 1 and a half mostly when those back teeth started to come in and the from there it's been like that. But I correct her cause I'm not fixing to let a 2 years old run over me.

@caseyann19, wow! I'm sorry hun. Maybe something is bothering her? Tooth maybe? Have you talked to anyone about her behavior? Like the doctor. Maybe with being consistent, she will start to calm down a little. I really wish I had the answers hun.

The tantrums were bad at the age! My daughter is only a few months older at 20 months but it has gotten a lot better. Also, try different foods to see what she likes instead of given in to junk food. I found out My daughter likes peaches and mandarins so that’s usually her snack. But if all else fails French fries lol

@luv_2b_amomma, she’s trying to cut her canines so that could be part of he issue too. I haven’t talked to her doctor yet but if it’s not any better by her 2 year old check up I’m gonna see what her pedi says about it.

@mojobebe, I try to all kinds of different food I even try to take some of her favorites and do different stuff with them but she still hardly eats 😩😩

@caseyann19, well if it helps, I took my dd to the doctor last week and commented how she barely eats and she told me to keep trying but not to stress if you she doesn’t eat because toddlers tend to stop eating and you think they’re going to die but they’re not lol

@mojobebe, that does help! I’m always freaking out thinking she’s hungry or not eating enough lol

@caseyann19, I’m the same way. She said that toddlers stop growing as quickly as a baby does so they don’t need as much. Just monitor her weight and always offer but if she doesn’t want to eat 🤷‍♀️
