My kids started school yesterday my daughter just went in third grade and my son in first grade he cried yesterday and today I find it strange he's the only one that cries, is it something that I'm doing because I don't baby him at all or is he too attached? I'm pretty sure other kids are attached to their parents. When it was time to go inside I stood my ground I said your class is going in it's time for you to line up he went to line up as he was crying but he did it. I don't know what to do

Maybe he's being bullied. I remember when I was little, I used to cry before starting school sometimes because I was bullied a lot.

I understand that,but is only the 2nd day of school I think is the transition bcus he has most of the same classmates as when he was in kinder and hes in 1grade now

My daughters both did this. My older daughter cried everyday for like a month of kindergarten both years. My youngest looks to be doing the same today is Day 3 of her second year and the only day she didn’t cry was day 1 😩. She is familiar with her teachers as she had the same ones last year and loves them and has tons of friends she’s just really attached to me once I’m gone she cheers up and has a blast. I think it’s just nerves that makes them cry to be honest.
