I kno this sounds stupid but if ur ten weeks and measuring 8 weeks what does that even mean does that mean ur 10 weeks or 8? Jw in my sono they told me same thing but I didnt ask bc I forgot

@natty947, Not so sure. I kept track of my cycles & I knew the first day of my last cycle because I wrote it down. & my dr didn’t say if that meant I’m 8 weeks or baby is just measuring 8 weeks but I’m 10 weeks along. What did they say your baby is measuring?

@mamato1boyandpregnant I was 10 w since last and measuring 8 weeks an a few days she said almost 9, now I'm all confused, first time pregnant so I'm not exactly sure how all this works yet lol I'm sorry

@natty947, Lol. That’s okay, it just pretty much means your baby is measuring what an 8 week old embryo or 9 week would measure but your still the weeks you currently are. Just means your baby is a little smaller right now, as long as the heart beat is fine & everything is fine, there’s no concerns. Your baby can always grow & get on track. This is my second pregnancy, I have a 4 year old son.

@natty947, I’m also 5’0 & my husband is 6’0. Our first born is always measuring a little tall for his age so he might be tall like my hubby. We didn’t get our first ultrasound with him until I was 19 weeks so I was never told if he was small or anything like that. We only saw him on ultrasound at 19 weeks & 34 weeks. With this baby we started my prenatal care early so that’s why I got an early ultrasound. With my first I didn’t start my care until around 14 weeks.
