Also what do you guys use for hospital bags? Do you pack you and baby separate?? My hubs doesnt need one plus were literally 10 mins from the hospital. I'm just getting "close" lol to packing mine but idk if I should use the backpack diaper bag for the baby and have a separate one for me? Or should I pack it all in a duffle bag like I dont want 50 bags filled with 500 unnecessary items just to unpack when I get back home.. and i dont have any bags yet i need to buy the diaper and a bag for me.. any pics of yours or preferably pics off amazon of style bag for me i should go for? I think i make a big deal out of everything but I feel like I should atleast be purchasing our bags in the next couple weeks lol

I have her diaper bag packed for her .. just a few things in it and a couple diapers (I know the hospital will give some) just in case we have a pit stop on the way home (I do plan to come straight home) unless we stop for food or something. My bag I didn't pack yet but I plan to throw at least a change of clothes for my husband in mine (so just two bags) .. a diaper bag and a backpack... And I'll take 1 empty draw string bag for the extra stuff they provide at the hospital

I’d first find out what your hospital provides and doesn’t provide. With my first they provided diapers but not with my second or third. They gave a few pads and that was it. Some hospitals provide diapers wipes and pads which is nice to know so you don’t pack them. I’d pack two separate bags for easy access would be a pain in the butt digging threw bags to find baby stuff or yours after birth.

I just plan on using one of our small wheeling suitcases. Baby’s stuff will be in diaper bag, but I will either stuff it in the wheeling suit case or hang it off the top, so it’s still just one bag—- and on wheels! My toiletry bag will go in there as well as an empty reusable shopping bag just in case.
