Don’t stress about the hole. My little guy was born with “medium size” hole and it closed within the first month or so.

I think if the doctors aren’t worried about it then you have a lot of time left in the pregnancy to see if it heals on it’s own.

@meka2013, yup. Buy the time we had our first cardio appointment it had closed so much that they discharged him and said to just watch for any symptoms. I think by the time he was three months it was gone completely

We have had two in our family born with holes in their heart, my nephew who is now almost 13 and healthy and my grandma who lived her whole life with it and lived till 93.

I've heard of a few babies having it and they end up closing! Just stay strong and don't stress too much if the Dr doesnt seemed worried. 😊
