You could get a belly band thing to hold up your pants when they can't button. I used a hairtie to loop my pants closed a lot. Leggings sized up would work. Flowy tops and dresses.

@nomli, I’m very short, about 5 foot 1. And the only thing is my belly but my arms and limbs are still skinny (I was only 94lbs and weigh around 102 now). I have managed to scoop some leggings that even have the band over my tummy. Also, what about some shorts? How do I shop for those?

You can still do the belly or hairtie thing for shorts. They sell the belly thing at Target, or at least they used to. Just have to have a shirt long enough to cover it, although it could just look like you have a tank top underneath if your top is shorter.

@aengl, yeah, it's annoying that maternity is usually made for when you get the big bumps, and not for that inbetween when you're too big for regular but not at the "big bump" state yet.

Target for sure. If you have a Ross or Burlington near you you can get some really good deals. Amazon has cute clothes too

I'm in the same boat as well... I wear long shirts to cover the unbuttoned pants and I mostly stick to leggings as well. It's getting cold here in Wa so it's so confusing trying to find something to wear.

I went through the same thing when I was pregnant around 19 weeks too! I was 85 pounds when I got pregnant, and I have skinny arms and legs so maternity clothes didn’t fit me at first. I honestly wore a lot of leggings in the beginning when I got too big for my regular clothes but too small for maternity clothes, and I wore shirts that were a size up or two. Eventually though my stomach got big enough where I did fit in maternity clothes, I went from 85pounds to 146 by the end of my pregnancy. Also a lot of dresses too! I just bought dresses that were a bigger size instead of spending a ton of money on maternity dresses. Target has great smaller maternity clothes, definitely check them out. Also Macy’s has petite maternity clothes that fit my skinny legs perfectly!!

@babybump21, Omg that was such a big jump in weight! How did you handle it? I’m feeling wobbly now and I’m still trying to not die on a sidewalk lol. Bless your heart though because it’s still hot and leggings are killing me some days. I’m hoping it’ll be better by the fall. But I definitely will once my paycheck comes!🙏🏽
