@prettyflower1033 I cleaned around it with a qtip or cotton ball (whatever we had) just with warm water and then dried it off with a washcloth. I just do that once a day, nothing crazy. With my 1st the Dr said really not to worry unless it starts looking infected, which hers never did.

@emily526 Did you clean around it only or inside as well.. I was told to clean it with a swab dipped into warm water then dry it off with a soft rag..

My daughters fell off the day we brought her home, and my 2nds just fell off yesterday. With my 1st she had minor bleeding for a few days and then it dried up and was just like a scab. We kept her diaper off of it and that's about it, nothing happened. It healed like a regular scab.
