I thought the quickening during 16-18 weeks were light movements. I don't know why I've been seeing this younger mom post continuosly about her baby kicking 20+ times a day. You're only 16 weeks my dude, that doesn't mean you're a special snowflake. It's probably just gas; I can't see it any other way. Unless her babies way overweight or she's arching her back on purpose to push her belly out. I felt the baby move early, like move. While I was lying down, but I don't have a lot of fluid and or meat on my bones. I don't think I felt the baby kick unfortunately until a few more weeks had passed.
@amysbabies Dude it's one of those people where you ended up seeing way too much and you can't look back now. But I did unfriend her, I'm considering blocking her because of some of the things she keeps posting. The girl is having her first pregnancy and is calling the baby a rainbow baby oml. I'm concerned for her, the way she's been posting stuff shows she's getting way too excited and the baby might not make it. She claims she was told she couldn't have kids.
If the date was off it would make SO much more sense.
You never know. I think for some it might be psychological, BUT it could be her due date is a few weeks off and it’s a big baby and she’s super sensitive. Even for moms 20+ weeks, it would be annoying if they always posted about the kicks, so I bet this is. If it’s on Facebook, can you just unfollow (not unfriend) her?
@amandaladams2017, yeah it’s all pretty crazy and given their growth is rapid but I don’t think at 3 weeks it’s sitting on any bladders! 😂 That cracked me up.
@lacysmith0217 I'm sure I felt her move once or twice that early but nothing as extreme as this lady keeps saying. I'm sure if she didn't post a ton a day I probably wouldn't even have it on my mind. Lol. It's dumb that I do.
@wanting2 You see that makes total sense to me because of how small the babies are around these early weeks of movement. Like I would make jokes of her punching the heart beat thing but I wasn't serious about it. I know she was too small to be doing anything too serious at 16 weeks. Now she moves my hand in one solid movement, freaky deaky but cool.
That sounds a bit dramatic lol. My first baby I didn’t feel a flutter until 16weeks and not an actual kick till 22weeks. This baby I felt flutters at 13weeks and just now feeling kicks. 🤷🏻♀️
@veemndz Yeah I try to keep that in mind but the woman posts 18 times daily about it. Lol it gets a little annoying. She was talking about the baby being on her bladder at 3 weeks too. I don't think she really knows what's going on. Having an environment for your bitty baby is new for new mothers. It was certainly different for me.
This is my 3rd and I started feeling him at 16 weeks
